Undercover Blues

Street Artist by Vic Briggs

About this image: A street artist in York, taking his puppy for a ride around town on a rather windy day (or so he would have you believe).

Life can be that way at times: pedalling along at full speed, only to realise you’re standing still. See, I did promise you some blues, but I hope you take away the cheery purples instead.

  1. You’ve said it all, the pedalling and life leading nowhere. Liked the sentence “pedalling along at full speed, only to realise you’re standing still.”

  2. Well, I have two reactions. 1) Call the humane society. That poor puppy is obviously distressed and needs to be taken from any person that would keep her out in a basket in the rain. 2) Take the poor chap immediately into the York Medical Society for further diagnosis; he’s apparently attempting to escape hospitalization.

    • I am always amazed by the imagination they put into their performance-pieces, although some of them are rather baffling. I wonder how does one come to be a street artist?
      Thank you, Lee-Anne.
