I’m not a photographer, but every now and then my camera suspends a moment in time and keeps hold of it for me to return to one day, and be in that place once again.
This was such a moment. Lake Tahoe in the morning, covered in misty cloud.

I’ve never been there but your photo sure makes it look nice. Great shot!
Thank you š
That is so very thin snow cover… The snowpack isn’t looking good for our water supply…
It’s been another droughty year. They were predicting a bumper season, but it looks like no more snow is expected until end of January now.
Made a @rebelmouse today. Set you up a subpage with #VB009 on there and your tweets.
I saw that š Thank you.
Yep. Playing with the filters now so the right content gets to the right sub pages, haha.
Over 500 hits already. And it’s 3 hours old now.
That’s wonderful, Kavalkade! š
Hehe. Is Karl Hughes someone I oughta know of?
A British actor? Just followed me on Twitter.
Not to my knowledge, but who knows š
LoL.
Not named Cumberbuns. haha.
Seems to kiss a lot of girls in his TL haha.
Not a verified account so I’m never sure if it’s the real deal. Oh well, said hello.
Haha – send me a link if there is one and I’ll take a peek š

Thank you, Cat. Ho have you been? I hope you are having a good holiday season.
I’ve been doing okay, thanks Vic.
Glad to hear it, Cat. Wishing you all the best for the new year. x
Sierra Tahoe. I mentioned in a comment before how much I love the Northern Sierra’s. Lake Tahoe in particular and get there a couple times a year. Spring and summer as I am a warm weather person, but thank you Vic for sending a little piece of Heaven. I hope you are enjoying yourself. Keep Inspiring.
John
Thank you, John. I’m glad I was able to share this with you and that it has brought back fond memories of your time spent here. It is a beautiful place. This morning there was a woodpecker on the balcony and then a very young squirrel came to say hello too š

I think you should get up the courage to label yourself “photographer” as well as “writer.” Nicely done!
That’s very sweet of you. Perhaps one day I will dare to take on the mantle. Thank you for the encouragement. The image for my post Forget-Me-Not is another one of mine – taken a week or so ago in San Diego.
A very nice photo ..
Thank you, Iksa.
